Pick From The 5 Digital Readouts That You Prefer
When you look at the side of the tape measure you see an iPod styled button setup. At the bottom of the “wheel” is the “in/cm” button.
You can press this button and cycle through which of the five digital readouts you want to use.

Measuring Inside And Outside Dimensions
This is a handy feature that lets you quickly and easily measure the inside of something like a door way, window, drawer, cupboard, etc.
All you have to do is press the “< >” button on the wheel and you will see an arrow change from pointing left on the bottom of the screen (which is for outside dimensions) to pointing right on the top of the screen (which is for inside dimensions).

Use it this way to measure without including the distance of the tape measure.

Use it this way to measure the inside dimensions of something. (i.e. It includes the distance of the tape measure itself)

Below is an example of measuring the inside and outside dimensions of a window frame and how easy it can be done when using the eTape Measure™.
*The eTape Measure™ automatically adjusts the digital display to account for the width of the tape measure itself when doing inside measurements.
Hold Your Measurement
This is button on the top allows you to hold the measurement without needing to keep the tape measure pulled out.
All you have to do is make the measurement and then press the “hold” button and it will keep that readout for you on the screen.
The screen will flash so you know that you are holding that particular measurement. This hold feature makes it very handy so you don’t take a measurement and then forget what it was and then have to go back and measure it allover again.
Lock Tape Measure In Place
This feature is just like traditional tape measures where you can pull out the tape and then press down the button to lock the tape measure itself in place.
This is perfect for those times you want to measure something and need to keep it extended.
It’s also great to help make sure it doesn’t fly back at you if you happen to let go.

The Battery Compartment
The battery compartment is on the bottom of the eTape Measure™ near the back.
Since it doesn’t use very much power the battery will last you for several years but if the battery were to wear out die, you can easily replace it by unscrewing the panel and then putting in 2 new LR44 batteries, which you can easily get from one of your local stores.
This long battery life combined with its durable design gives you the ability to enjoy the eTape Measure™ for many years to come.
A Handy Belt Clip
On the back of the eTape Measure™ is a convenient belt clip so you can hook in on to your pants or tool belt like a traditional tape measure.
